Doral Academy of Idaho Achieves One of the Largest ISAT Jumps in the State

Doral Academy of Idaho is celebrating a remarkable academic achievement on the 2025 Idaho Standards Achievement Test (ISAT).

  • English Language Arts (ELA): Proficiency increased from 48% in 2024 to 70.5% in 2025, moving the district’s state ranking from 105th to 20th.

  • Math: Proficiency rose from 35% to 51.5%, climbing from 120th to 43rd in Idaho’s district rankings.

Among Idaho’s Top 25 districts in ELA, Doral Academy was the only district to grow more than 10% last year—achieving an extraordinary 22.5% increase.

Principal Michael Shapiro expressed his pride in the school community’s hard work: “This kind of growth shows what a dedicated school community can achieve when everyone is focused on student success.”

These results place Doral Academy of Idaho firmly on track toward its next goal: Top 10 in ELA and Top 20 in Math.
