This distinction was awarded through the Nevada School Performance Framework (NSPF), Nevada’s public-school rating system, which evaluates schools based on a comprehensive set of performance measures. The school campus earned 5 stars in elementary, 5 stars in middle school, and 5 stars in high school, reflecting its consistent commitment to high-quality education and exceptional student achievement across grade levels.
Founded in 2019, Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon is a tuition-free public charter school with over 2,000 students currently enrolled. With no zone variance requirements, the school is accessible to any student from the region who wishes to apply, making it an inclusive option for families seeking high-quality education. The school is particularly focused on closing the achievement gap for disadvantaged student populations, ensuring that all students, regardless of their background, have the opportunity to succeed.
