Tony York Honored with National School Safety Lifetime Achievement Award

Academica Nevada is proud to celebrate Mr. Anthony (Tony) York, Director of School Safety, for receiving the 2025 National School Safety Lifetime Achievement Award at the 21st Annual National School Safety Conference, held July 29–August 1, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This prestigious award recognizes Tony’s 36+ years of dedicated service in law enforcement and school safety, highlighting his unwavering commitment to creating secure and supportive learning environments for students and staff across Academica’s network of schools.

Reflecting on the honor, Tony shared:

“Today was a huge day in my professional life. After years in law enforcement and school safety, I was incredibly honored to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award. It’s very humbling, and I’m filled with gratitude for the people, events, and memories that have made this journey possible.”

The National School Safety Conference, hosted by the School Safety Advocacy Council, is internationally recognized as the most comprehensive conference focused on school safety and security. Bringing together leading experts, law enforcement professionals, and educators from around the world, the conference provides innovative strategies and best practices to improve school safety.
